How to Contribute to GaL‑AA Using Zeffy
A simple, secure, and fee‑free way to support us.
1. Start on the GaL‑AA Website
Go to GaL‑AA.org and click Contributions in the top navigation bar.
Once on the Contributions page, you’ll see two ways to begin your donation.
Both lead to the same secure Zeffy form:

Scan the QR code, or

Click the contribution link
2. Enter Your Contribution Amount
On the Zeffy page:

Type in the amount you’d like to contribute

Click Continue
You’ll see a short set of questions to help us track contributions accurately.
3. Tell Us Who Is Contributing
You’ll be asked:

Who is contributing? AA Group or AA Individual
-
Group location (if applicable)
-
Are you a GaL‑AA member?

Would you like to become one?
These questions help us maintain accurate records and follow AA Traditions.
4. Adjust the Optional Zeffy Tip
Zeffy processes donations 100% free for nonprofits.
They survive on optional tips from donors.
At the summary screen, you’ll see a suggested percentage.
You can:

Keep the suggested amount

Choose a different percentage
-
Or set it to $0 by selecting Other and entering your preferred amount
Any amount — including zero — is perfectly fine.
5. Choose Your Payment Method
Zeffy accepts:

Bank transfers

Checks (if needed)
Enter your name and email so Zeffy can send your tax‑deductible receipt instantly.
6. Click “Donate”
Once you submit your contribution, you’ll receive:

Why We Use Zeffy
Zeffy covers all processing fees, allowing 100% of your contribution to support GaL‑AA’s mission. Your generosity directly funds outreach, communications, and services for LGBTQ+ members of Alcoholics Anonymous.
