Here is how the Ms./Mr. Sobriety World fundraising process works:

Our Part

• After the contestant form has been received, GaL-AA will:

  • Add your contestant information to the contestant page

  • Provide you with a web address and QR code for you to solicit contributions with a credit or debit cards​

  • Provide you with a poster that you can use for promotion

  • Add your email address to your contribution form so that each time a new contribution is received, you will receive an email with the name, amount and email. If you want to opt out send to fundraising@gal-aa.org

• On Saturday July 5th, GaL-AA will host a Ms./Mr. Sobriety World event where the winner will be announced.

Your Part

• Raise funds using the link and/or QR code. 

  • No goals, just fun!

  • Any cash contributions collected during fundraisers, should be deposited in a contestant's account then send the balance via a debit or credit card using the contestant form to send the funds. (This is a free transfer if you put in $0, when asked to support Zeffy) 

• Contest ends June 30 @ 10:30 PST with all funds deposited through the contestant form.

Where do the contributions go?

All contributions to contestants through GaL-AA's website, go to support GaL-AA and GaL-AA's Vancouver Host committee's expenses at the 2025 International Convention.
