She flees authority figures, and sometimes good sense. But she always pauses when agitated or asked for a photo or autograph. Coming in hot, from the State of Texas she wants her followers to remember.. The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself. Oh. And and that dreaded... mediocrity

Chanelta is a powerful presence in the Los Angeles sober community. Over the course of her 19 years of sobriety, she has graced numerous sober conferences across California and the United States, sharing her journey and inspiring others. She selflessly dedicates her time to supporting roundups and charity events, always putting service first. With a heart committed to giving back, Chanelta is excited about the opportunity to win the Miss Sober World 2025 crown and proudly represent our community.

I am a Canadian who grew up and lived in the United States most of my life. I started doing drag at 21, and I am now 41. I've done anything a person can...in drag, including getting sober...the most challenging thing yet. I’ve hosted a successful show in eastern WA for over 7 years, won several imperial court system titles and I even took the crown at Miss Gay WA 2010-2011 as the underdog (I was not the favorite to win). I’ve traveled up and down the West Coast doing drag, raising money for nonprofits, and making friends with fellow queens in many states. But sadly, I hung up my shoes in 2016 and only dabbled here and there when I felt inspired. That said, I’d like to give drag another shot, and I think this is the perfect opportunity. Thank you for your support and lets get out there and have some fun!
